a) Information you provide: account information such as your name, email address, and password; text, documents, links, and other user content you submit for analysis, summarization, or interaction; and information you provide when contacting support.

b) Information collected automatically: logs and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and service interactions; and cookies or similar technologies used to maintain sessions and improve functionality. You can limit cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may restrict some features.

c) Information processed for specific features: when you use relevant features, we may process content you submit or identify at your request. For one-time processing data that does not need to remain in an account or knowledge base, we take commercially reasonable measures to place it into the deletion process after the relevant processing ends.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to provide, operate, and improve the Services; process user content and generate AI results; detect and prevent unauthorized use, fraud, or abuse; enforce the Terms of Service; and comply with legal obligations.

AI training and service improvement: without your explicit consent, we do not use personally identifiable user content to train our foundation AI models. You acknowledge and agree, however, that we may use anonymized, de-identified, or aggregated data derived from service usage and user content to develop, train, evaluate, and improve algorithms, AI models, product features, and the Services as a whole.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only to the limited extent necessary to provide the Services, fulfill legal obligations, or protect legitimate interests.

Service providers and AI partners: we may provide trusted third-party service providers with data needed to perform specific services. These providers are bound by contractual and confidentiality obligations, may process data only under our instructions and for specified purposes, and may not use your content for their own purposes or independently train their models.

Legal and compliance: we may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights or the rights of others, maintain service security, or prevent fraud.

External platforms: when you process content from third-party websites or platforms, you must also comply with their respective terms and privacy policies.

Data Security and Retention

We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, but no internet transmission or electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, perform contracts, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Content saved in an account or knowledge base is generally retained until you delete it or close the account. One-time processing data that does not require long-term storage is placed into the deletion process after the relevant processing ends.

When you submit a deletion request, we handle it under applicable rules. Because of technical, operational, or legal limitations, some data may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or compliance records for a reasonable period.

Your Data Rights and Choices

Depending on the laws that apply in your country or region, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold. lunote does not sell your personal information.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored on servers outside your country or region, where data-protection rules may differ from those in your location.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13. For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the corresponding age is under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who do not meet the applicable age requirement.

Dispute Resolution
